Transferaktivitäten von RB Leipzig noch lange nicht beendet!
RB Leipzig ist auf US-Tour und hat neun Nachwuchsspieler dabei, primarily because a significant number of national players are still on vacation but also due to a few yet-to-be-filled spots in the squad. So far, the team from Saxony has announced only two new signings this summer. Goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt (22) is seen as a potential successor to Péter Gulácsi (34) while Assan Ouédraogo (18) is considered a future investment. Coach Marco Rose (47) emphasized the benefits of a slightly smaller squad for maintaining high training intensity and is optimistic about the squad's quality once the Euro players return. Nonetheless, RB Leipzig faces challenges in multiple competitions, and injuries, like Xaver Schlager’s (26), are unpredictable. The "Rote Bullen" are thus keenly scouting the transfer market for a new defensive midfielder and a young, promising striker, in addition to finding a replacement for Dani Olmo (26) if he leaves as expected, though his departure may be delayed, possibly keeping him at RB Leipzig for the near future. Xavi Simons' (21) stay at RB Leipzig appears almost certain, easing one significant uncertainty. According to Coach Rose, Simons has decided to spend another developmental year at Leipzig, which pleases the coach, especially considering Simons’ potential for further growth before taking the next step in his career.
